LABORATORY OF SYSTEMS BIOLOGY

We are using experimental techniques based on high throughput technologies combined with advanced computational tools to find better means for describing and understanding the system-level interactions among genes, macromolecules and metabolites that underlay complex relations between development and adaptability of plants to perturbations of external environment.

Our main model organism and the system of interest is Arabidopsis thaliana. We focus on regulatory events occurring at chromatin level which is a natural platform integrating genetic and epigenetic changes with inputs from intra- and extracellular environments.
